Hi! I’m Brittney.
So obviously I’m a crazed book fanatic which is most likely why you’ve stumbled on my profile. I’m a sucker for anything magical, medieval, and otherworldly. Give me action, politics, romance, and everything in between!
Reading has become a major part of my life and has gotten me through some very difficult times. I’ve actually been sick for years- I’m battling Lyme Disease, and it keeps me house bound most of the time. This year, I had to give up my dream job because of it, and while I’m grieving over that, I’m also thankful because the book community has introduced me to some of my very best friends and given me such a wonderful pass time while I’m healing. I wouldn’t trade the friendships I’ve made or the stories I’ve become apart of for anything.
As a reviewer, I firmly believe in honest but kind critiques. Cruelty accomplishes nothing, even in call outs. You will never find a hateful or spiteful review from me. As far as review requests, due to my illness, I am not able to take on many but feel free to send me an email if you’re a YA fantasy author!
I also write! Painting with words has become my choice form of art, and I’ve been working on a YA fantasy novel that I can’t wait to share with the world one day!
If I’m not reading, you can find me smudged up from markers or paint, practicing my hand lettering, and kicking it to jams because my music obsession, like books, has no limits.

My Book Ratings:
5 Stars: I CANT BREATH. I will read this over and over and over and over… unless I kill over from excitement first.
4 Stars: Really really good. Definitely engaged me- and I very highly recommend it. Perhaps only something small that kept it from a 5 star read.
3 Stars: Good, interesting, but perhaps something about it is tugging at me the wrong way.
2 Stars: I just didn’t feel it. I NEED THE FEELS!
1 Star: Didn’t work for me, and I likely found something I strongly disagreed with.
